The Pro Ice Scapula and Cervical Ice Wrap covers my neck, upper thoracic spine and latissmus dorsi muscle perfectly. I work at a computer all day and can comfortably wear it while I work. It is not too cold like some ice packs (I'm a sensitive creature) and gets the swelling down so I can keep keeping on. I have disk herniations in my neck and I get knots in my upper back and shooting pain down my arm when the swelling gets bad. This ice wrap help A LOT.
I am thoroughly disappointed with my purchase of the Pro Ice Scapula and Cervical Collar, for two reasons: 1) When I am upright, the wrap does not stay securely against my body, for even minor movement; 2) Crucially: The cervical support is designed...to go right around the neck. This is entirely unacceptable, even a liability risk for the company. One small change in design could solve both problems. I would mention the change here, but I wouldn't want a competitor to gain an advantage over what seems to be an excellent company which presents itself honestly and considerately. Still, I would not simply 'not recommend' this product: I would strongly recommend against purchasing this product.
Although it is challenging getting the ice into the sleeves and getting the whole thing on and in place, once it’s actually on, it does the job. Full coverage of shoulders, back and neck that allows icing without being in uncomfortable positions. You can move around in this while icing as well. Great little invention.
